my 300bhp ovni cupra

well as said elsewhere on here, i bought this car less than a week ago, i give a huge thumbs up to the previous owner who did all the work.
the bodywork, being ovni yellow, has faded a fair bit, and theres huge lacquer peel on the roof, but i never bought the car for that, i bought it purely for the monster under the bonnet!!
anyway, i put pics in the ibiza mk3 section but thought i would post some up here

many things ordered for it, waiting impatiently for it haha

couple more wee piccys
one of the car looking very sad

few things removed (turbo aswell obviously but no pic of it

then it all went back together with new gaskets as there were no gaskets in there apart from manifold to head, no gasket from mani to turbo or turbo to dp

then today i recieved a couple small parcels in the post

also have a short shift which arrived yesterday, and exhaust wrap which is already on the manifold
still lots coming so more pics to come

well once again the car is back in my garage stripped down. manifold snapped yesterday so its been taken off to get completely re-welded.
after i got it off i realised there was not only a break where the wastegate comes off but several other huge cracks all over it, then when the welding shop got hold of it they told me its cracked all over so getting cleaned up and completely re-done due to very bad original welds

well been collecting a lot of parts since the car has been off the road the past couple weeks, so will be starting to get going in the next couple days.

parts collected:
gearbox
stage 3, 6 paddle clutch kit
front upper strut brace
full bush kit
grooved brake discs and greenstuff pads (until i can afford 312mm setup)
guages
turbo timer
material to have a new manifold made

so as you can imagine i have a fair stack of boxes lying in my garage

rr thread will be started once the work begins

well, bee3n a little quiet on here for a while, nothing much has happened due to being jobless and moving house, but, clutch and gearbox done, ild manifold going back on for now, need to get a cat or a very friendly mot tester as it now needs an mot

anyone in aberdeen/shire area whos fancies a little hands on work, helping to get her through the mot let me know
