There is allthough one thing puzzeling me... Why didn't you remove the plastic bits on the doors? I don't know what they're called...
Those! I'm having my car repainted and thinking of getting those off. Any advice?

I know it's been said before, but the motor looks amazing dude!! It's funny, I've often thought that lcr's should've been offered in white from new, I always thought it'd look awesome, but now I've seen you're one, I can confirm my thoughts!! Top job dude!!
My fav leon, its awesome, saw pics of it on edition38. whats the full spec on the wheels and how easy were they to fit?

i didnt remove them because it looks too slab sided with them removed, and looks plain.
if you decide to remove these then you will need to weld the holes up behind and then use filler etc, up to but imo looks better kept on.

rears are 19 x 9.5 with 225 35 19 tyre
H&R adapters all round,
the rears will not go on without stretch, the fronts would noy go on without modification to the coilovers too,

I've got a black Toledo to which i will be fitting a Cupra R front bumper and side-skirts, plus a custom made back bumper from a Cupra R and a Toledo one plus some other small exterior bits. But all that will be easily overlooked on black. I'm after a clean, OEM(kinda') look and yours is the best example... I was thinking of red before i saw your car but now... I don't know! I think i will be going red because the wife doesn't like white cars ) Do you have any pics of what a satin red looks like?

What modifications do you need on the front coilovers? do you know what ET your running now?

nothing major really just remove the helper springs so you can raise the spring adjusters above the tyre so it doesnt scrub. also adjustable top mounts so you can move the strut away from the wheel and add some camber.
what wheels are you looking at?
Just thinking lm reps then sorting the interior and bodywork, then my idea was some porsche alloys, i like the 997 ones i think they are. the have 5spokes and each spoke has 3spokes to it if you know what i mean. Im going away from the bentley idea now as the ET is too low to work. Will you be at gti springfest next weekend?

the bentlys would be nice though, would you do staggered fitment? not sure on the offset on these, and it will be different to mine as my front spokes curve out and the rears curve in due to the width, however the wheels you have chosen will be flat and the width will be added to the inside instead, this however isnt a problem.
yes ill be at spring festival at the weekend not sure on whos stand yet though.
cheers mate, i did like it when it was purple as there were alot of firsts on it when it was done, what with the 20s, smoothing, colour etc etc, but at edition last year i thought i need to up my game.
I was going to sell cos i hated it, but i loved driving it and it has only done 39k, when i went to edition i thought i was going to get rid , but was convinced to keep it and give it a fresh look. So we removed everything and started again.
we also smoothed lost more buts on the car which goes unrecognised only a certain few see how much blood and sweat we have put into this car this time over.

With the bentleys id end up with ET of 21 cos of the adapters been 20mm ,just too low which is gutting as i wanted black faces and polished lips. Im at springfest with vag-h2o so il look out for your car and a chat if your around
