was very happy to get an email off of a modified car site called fresh uk asking to put my car on their stand at summer maddness on the 31st of july nice to see some1 taking notice of the work iv done lol :D
 
ok small update decided to paint up my rocker cover and timing belt cover in matt metalic grey but to be honest dont realy like it lol what u all think

it does look better in person but still not sure think it may be coming off again lol
 
It looks....okay, a little bit too middle ground if anything. So inoffensive, it creates offence by not saying anything.... Did you polish the bit at the front (minds gone blank for what its called :() If you could get the same finish on the rocker cover, that'd look good, or Gloss black ;)
 
Danny. Could it go the same red as your wheels? The red of the boost pipes would be a bit too much, but the red of your wheels might go quite well...:think:
 
Yeah, I thought that too. But thats not a red like the boost pipes, it is the same, if not a little bit darker than your wheels... I think thats a good plan. Is it heatproof paint you used?
 
front bumper looks awesome mate, you have to smooth the number plate recess out?

also how you get the inlet manifold sooooooooooo shiny :eek:

i say get ur rocker cover done gloss black :) isit easy to take off and do you need a new gasket everytime?

year i smoothed the recess out bitch of a job ! lol and done my manifold by hand sand it down starting with 80grit and work ure way down to 2000 wet and dry then get ure metal polish out and give it a good shine up :) took me about 3 hours all together. year pretty easy to get off depends in what state the gaskets in i didnt replace mine :) cheers for the commets
 
3 hours woah, fink i might hust leave mine black lol. Rocker cover looks and siunds easy enough might have a go at getting mine gloss black at some point.

Shame tht you have to out a reg plate on the front of ur car looks real nice without one.
