Did you buy that from a chap in Weston-Super-Mare??

If you lose the graphics it would alot better in my opinion, or if its the graphics your after just change the swirl one! Reminds me of something that goes round your arm not down the car.

Good luck and welcome any how! ;)

how much do u think its worth cus thinking of selling and nutting like its chaved up its worth £200, im thinking of getting a astra gsi, ibiza curpa r or golf gti or starlet gt turbo, wat do u recmomend is best?

Hey it's my old car.

I bought that car brand new and started modifying it straight away. It's not a patch on what it used to be as it was done as an I.C.E. wagon (which I stripped out prior to selling). I read that someone thinks it's a body kit, well it isn't, back in 2000 there were hardly any after market body parts for the Mk3, so most of that was custom made from bits for other cars, the splitter is for an E30 3series, the skirts were for a mk5 escort (I believe they are now made as a direct fit for the ibiza). That spoiler isn't even mounted up the right way, I split the brackets out of it and put them in the wrong side to mount it that way. The car was all for show and not performance, the fake disks were fitted before one of the shows I did with it because I didn't have the time to strip the drums and re-paint them (they were rusting), I just never removed them. I even put Rage hologram paint on the oxigen1 rims as the paint was new out at the time. Oh and for the record, those wheels were only the second set in the country, the first went on an A3 in the midlands. Those graphics, believe this or not, were actually designed by me and my local tatoo artist, I adapted one of his designs to go on my car. Unfortunately where I had them made put them on their website to show what they could do, then they got copied, over and over again and I am told you can now order them out of the Halfrauds catalogue of stickers. Yes that car is dated now, but at the time (around 5 yrs ago) it was the muts nuts. Everything was up to date "car fashion" of the time, it even had neons and strobes under it all on remote controls.

I was really proud of that car, and still am, I had 16 mag features (mainly due to the I.C.E) and won numerous shows. I was fenatical about it, used to polish it like every other day.

My boot as it was, 2x16" focals ran off the tantrum series amp in the middle, you can just make out the 10" subs hanging off the shelf, they were off another amp hidden under the 16s. All lit up like a cheap disco with internal strobes, wire neons, etc...etc...

Rage hologram paint, not the best of ideas I had, but it still got me attention as it was a brand new type of paint out.

Oh I see no-one ever replaced the rear wheel arches that I lost when using skid trays under my rear wheels throwing the car around like a total goon, well I was a kid at the time, LOL.

Chris.

Oh on another note, cut the rear bumper and raise the exhaust, I left the bracket long on the exhause so it could litterally be bent to make it shorter and raise the pipes, I just never got round to it.

Oh and the car originated in Plymouth. Is it still super chipped with a drilled air box and a jetex panel filter? Man there really was nothing available when I was building that, but hey it meant there weren't any other "new shape" ibizas modified at the time, so it did as intended and got the attention. Personally I wouldn't wanna own a car like that now, but it brings back alot of very good memories.

I must be gettin old cuz i wouldnt be seen dead in that...
Dont get me wrong i like moddified cars but prob due to the fact ive always had VW's i prefer the "less is more" type of mods ie; smooth door handles etc...

Threads like this wind me up..... why the hell would you want to do this to a mk3? there nice enough looking cars as they are, secondly why the hell would you buy it 2nd hand? and fake rear discs pathatic!!:banned: End of rant

Rodders, get a bloody grip. Do you really think the car looks cool? loose ALL the decals and the high level spoiler....immediately. Your car could look fab without all that nonsense.
