I bought a new Leon in December and i noticed my fog lights were on when i saw my car in a shop window however when i got out to look they were off.
As i was parked up tonight i noticed it again however they went off after a couple of seconds. They came back on each time i put my car in reverse, is this normal

Any advice would be appreiciated

Charly :p

It's to do with the steering when you're only going slow. Steer left and the left fog comes on and vice versa. It's meant to illuminate the area for you when you're maneuvering.

Can be switched off by vag-com or a friendly dealer.

Ok thank you, very technical lol, i was starting to think i'd broken it already :)
Do they charge much to turn it off?

Charly :p

haha still confused lol.......i think a drip to the dealer might bein order. I'm okish with cars lol but i really dont understand any of that :s

:p

Next thing we will hear is that the old bill will be pulling people over for having one spot light on, thinking the other one is faulty. I wonder if the rules and regs have changed since the introduction of this feature. It personally think it looks daft, although I can see the reason for it.

Check out the meets and eventds section of the forum mate. Then select what area you live in and there's a thread all about it.

It was the first thing i turned off when i got me Cable , IMHO it looks like your driving around with your fog lights on and one of them is broke :ban:
