could the comp wheel be clocked around more so the wg's not resting on the head?that's the 1st top mount set up i've seen with the wg in that position, will it be alright there do you think?are they gonna move it all down a bit so the turbo sits lower behind the head?

wg & actuator on top

yah, the wg is a bit tight and messy but im sure there is a way te relocate it

could you machine a bit off the cam cover to gain some clearance?

can you still get at the coilpack? would be frustrating at the road side to dismantle too much before being able to change a CP

yah looks tight but i think its the pics that make it look ven worse, i can just make another braket when i get it back if it is really that much of a pain.

consider what it will be doing once its all hot.... expansion in which ever direction it wishes to go. (stainless expands like a mofo)

the latest is i *should* be getting it back this sat.
i havnt driven it yet so i cant say if i have any problems, but what kind of problems are you refering too?

hi sorry for the late update, i have the car back and all is fine. apart from the down pipe is resting on the lower heat shield at the bottom by the steering rack. we are going to fit a full set of vf engineering engine mounts and adjust the dp tomorrow.

the wg is around 1cm way from hitting the rocker cover, and in the pic below you can see that when it opens it does not foul (used a bike pump to open it up)

the coil packs can be removed fine, its just a bit more fiddly.
