My Ibiza has a few issues

Hey all,

I've had my 1.4 MKII Ibiza since August and gradually the list of faults has built up. I have recently gotten a new car, and decided to take this opportunity to get it off the road and start fixing the faults.

I pretty much know what most of them are:

Manifold gasket is rotten and leaks in the far left side due to a sheared off bolt
Squeel from the cam pulleys - needs greasing (wd40 test sorted the sound)
Tappets intermittantly tap - sometimes when cold, sometimes when hot - not always.

So the solutions being

Replace the gasket
Remove and replace the broken bolt
Full engine flush and oil change - failing that removal of the head and replace the tappet.

I do have one problem I am uncertain about however. The car has a recent clutch and gearbox, but i suspect this has been done badly. When the car is cold, and in neutral, there is an almighty rattle that only goes away when I press the clutch pedal. Logic assumes the clutch is therefore loose, but I have never had any problems with it.

The clutch is far too much for me (no mechanical knowledge but a few months to do it :)) but suggestions of the possible fault and any helpful advice much appretiated.

Thanks

Oh and to add, the car pulls quite heavily to the right and has excessive tyre wear on the inner tread. I'm assuming the latter means it needs a wheel allignment but the issue where it pulls to the right, I dunno
