Hi everyone, last month I picked up my new car! A 2005 MK1 Leon FR TDI in platinum grey with the factory cupra (I belive called phoenix) kit. Now affectionately named Lola as the splitter bottoms out prety much every time I leave the drive
Will post a picture up soon!
Upgrades already are a set of LCR brembos up front (17s have been spaced to fit over the calipers) with goodridge braided lines, and I've wired an aux kit into the 6CD changer to keep the factory look!

Next little few bits other than general niggles is to do a set of 6000k HIDS (change all lights to 6000k temp) and to have a set of blue edged mats made as going for the blue and grey look! Anyone else find the extra padding on the drivers mat catches on your heel?

Hope you all like it! I'll keep you all posted!

They came with the car mate :), I saw a few sets on the Facebook v.a.g page seem to be around the £400 Mark, you may need spacers and bolts if you are running the 17s like me :) did read somewhere you have to run braided lines but not sure how true that is. :)

Hi everyone just a small update, hope you all had a great Christmas! managed to use the Christmas period to get a few bits off the list. Managed to get the fuel filter done (suprsingly made quite a differance from the old one that was corroded and probably drawing in air) , and get the remaining glass out the boot as well as free off the boot handle so it works again. also managed to seal up the N/S/F regulator so I didn't have a swimming pool in my footwell :)

After some thought I have decided to do a back box delete and make it into the oval tip like The LCR's to smarten the back of it up so will be looking at doing this in the new year along with possibly doing an EGR delete and a catch can for the breathers. :)

Im interested to see the progression of this seeing as I also bought a platinum grey FR TDI a few weeks ago, albeit a 54 plate with 88k on the clock.

Anything I do to the car from niggles to mods will be here, if you would like to know how I did anything prices etc do ask! more than happy and can put up pictures when I finally work out how to do it :)

The easiest way to use this site and post pictures etc is by using the Tapatalk phone app.

I shall send a photo as soon as it lets me! Even with spacers is b***** tight! Also found out stones stuck in brakes sound horrendous, luckily no scoring!
