I have the intercooler but it's too large for what im after as it's a twin cooler I'd only want a single as I don't want lag and I don't want to strain the stock turbo too much :) ill photo it up shortly :)

Interest also to see what you do with this. I myself have a platinum grey FR TDI (05 plate) and love it. Mines has just had a new stage 1 remap along with a new ECU (other story in relation to limp mode symptoms :(), new set of coiles, darkside developments EGR delete, k&n air intake. Was also decatted when I bought it so I blame that for the black smoke on boost.

Quick question, did you drive the car before the LCR front upgrade? If so, is there much difference?

The lcr brake feel incredible however came with the car so have no comparison but aparently feel amazing, clearance is tight though :)

I don't like twin pass coolers, I much prefer the single pass kit Airtec do for the Leon. A lot of money though but I think it's worth it to future proof against boost leaks and potential big turbo upgrade.

Don't think I'll be doing a big turbo upgrade but I would like to do a single pass intercooler all I need is the cooler as I've got pipework :)

I have just sold my fr+ tdi 150.

It had a stage 1 remap, egr valve and cooler delete and backbox delete and it sounded great.

In relation to the the question about the shutdown on the engine without asv,it isnt that bad at all.

Whatever you do dont take the cat off the car along with a backbox delete, the turbo seals dont like it and it will draw oil through them and wreck it.

Out of curiousity Jputts what colour is the FR badge on the wing?

Red and black on mine and do you get the owl noise from just the back box delete it is it more whistley?

After some seriously heavy rain last night it is clear that both my nearside regulator seals are fantastic....

Fortunately it seems I'm going at sealing regulators up unfortunately it's c omming from the cabin filter area through anyone got a thread in this already or know how to fix it? Would be appreciated because as much as I like swimming pools footwells are not the place for them!

I think possibly yours is an FR not an FR+ and someone has put cupra bumpers on it.The FR+ had an all red badge on the wings and as said above 17" cupra-R style wheels. It seems strange that someone would change these things to normal FR style.
It doesn't really make any difference anyway the still the same car.

Yeah I had the owl or coo noise when I put the straight pipe in.

Mine's just an fr not a + and the leak is hopefully now sealled! Just found what could be a prety good way of drying the footwell out is to remove the blower motor cover (which had a pool of water in) and dry out in there and then run it without the cover on! Two 6mm and it should pop right off!

Is that engine bay or under the glovebox? Think mine is getting moisture in from the pollen filter as it steams up from the bottom of the middle of the windscreen

Engine bay, leaking behind glovebox :) (hopefully not anymore) I had the same steaming issue, id be tempted to pull the cabin filter holder out and reseal it :) might be worth checking those beautiful regulator panels we all love as well :)

Yeah I need to check those, keep putting it off though haha. Will check the blower tray on Saturday and while I'm in there, stick a new filter in

Blower tray will tell you if she's leaking :) two 6mm have a tag ready it may be quite wet!
