Out of curiosity how much roughly would it cost to powder coat a set of rims?

Our local place charges £46 per wheel for 17", so prob a few quid more for yours - thats a drive in service including tyre removal/refitting and balancing etc.

That sounds great. Being drive in, does it mean you drive the car away same day?
Won't the new paint still be soft, after just being freshly painted?

One inconvenience of getting Alloys done is sourcing a spare set of wheels, to put on the car, while yours come off and get the paint treatment. Then swapping them all back over a few days later, once the Wheel painting is done.

They powder-coat them, so they are baked...

This is a place with great reputation too, so they wouldnt cut any corners (Ive had 2 sets of wheels done there).

Its Romax in Stockton, which is prob no use to you - but no doubt there'll be somewhere similar nearer to you.

Nice to see TESCO Extra now stock Alloys + fitting service? :)
(thats the great thing about supermarkets these days, they do more than just your sunday grocery shop!).

Just out of interest. The center bit around the number plate on the bumper did you get that painted or was it a part that you bought to make it black??

Looks really nice though all you need now is the side skirts to finish it off :D
