my mk3 1.4 ibiza's life so far....

basically i started off with a standard 1.4 mk3 ibiza, she was a ncie red but in need of some love.

so i started with a good old spit and polish.. well a lot of polish!

I also debaged the sides are rear. (is a .cool/s)

as you can see i also put 6x9's in my parcel shelf as standard speakers are rubbish. (also a SCN sticker on the bottom right on the rear screen)

i then made my own aero wiper arms as the standard ones where smearing badly.

i then put some 6000K HIDS in my car what a change!

i then decided to get some 20mm hubcentric spacers for the rear, and got a LCR front splitter

I then decided to buy a new fabia wiper. (pictures where taken in the dark!)

Then the next mod was some driving HID lights in the bumper. these are propper dome jobbies with retro fit HID Bulbs and ballast's behind them, the light on the road is fantastic.

wow such great feedback from my fog / hids job.

to be honest i custom made them. im an engineer so i love bodge jobs . no seriously the list of what you need is as follows.

1 plate x3mm thick ally (£4.00) from a hobby store
2 x 'hid' housings from a golf (£5.00) from the scrappy)
2 x plastic tuppa wear tubes from asda (£1)
some wire (£3)
1 switch and relay set (£5)
1 pillar drill
1 HID kit (£40) ebay.
small peice of 5mm thick perspex. (£3)
a good few hours of your time.

total of around £61 quid . much cheaper than seat dealers trying to sell me 2 fogs and wiring kit for just short of £200



appart from that its just being inventive etc.. i doubt i will be able to make an exact replica that are the same as mine (mine are not perfect).

i suppose if you lot want what i can do is if you let me know what the car is , what the fog light mountings are and how you want them, i can make the brackets up for you and then get the lights and post them to you. for the wiring .. well its easy!!!!

if you want to do it yourselfi guess i can spend some time tomorrow laying on the floor taking step by step pics for you lot!

put sainsburys 99 ron in there. much better than v power

also change your sig... there is nothing wrong with out 1.4's. i can still out run a brand new 1.4 pug and i have 116k miles on my engine and he has 20k.!

our 1.4s are fine, just nto good on top speed or motorway.. i find mine tops out at 110 *Cough* 'kph' *cough*

if i sold the seats i would put the standard 1.4 interior back in.. (currently annoying my dad as its sitting in his garage.

got all the old stuff so i can return it to standard if i get offered the right price for the seats.

plus i feel that if i left the interior in i would not get as much for the car as if i returned it to standard and sold the seats seperatly.

i had to replace my shocks and springs due to my original front giving up on me. managed to get some cupra shocks and springs for cheap. they transform the handling but would like it a bit lower and stiffer.
spacers where from ebay.
