Exactly it's daft  the plate I have on be it smaller is more than visible and reflective. I assumed if be fine and like I said I've had it on a good 9 months[:@]

:ban:
did you do a throttle body realignment with vagcom after?
looks like a nice clean bay really makes some space moving the battery looking at the pics above.
Erm no

I didn't know you had to  it seemed to drive better, think my inlet was a bit clogged and the injectors were a bit mucky

Lots of space when the battery and SAI is chucked out :D

It says to do I when the battery has been disconnected also

I have done that many many times and never realigned

Maybe I should give it a go :p

It's no more restrictive than before I don't think
Probably less actually as the plate sits lower.
Would you believe I'd come back off holiday 3 days earlier

I like the Mk3 cupra r but my gf would've killed me buying a car 10 years old

Looking into a tubular manifold and a k04 now

Had a trip down to ****** for a new map last Thursday. The map that was on my car wasnt doing it much good, putting lots of stress on the turbo which may have made it a poorly turbo :(

It can't be that bad as after a lot of good work from Niki and the guys it is now making 245 bhp and 299 ft/lb. The new map is amazing, night and day compared to the old one. Power delivery is rediculously smooth and pulls very very strong.
The graph

I can't understand why they can not be named :wtf:

I don't think there's a better tuner for the 1.8 20vT. Especially anything with a K03s

The map is amazing, power is strong all the way through to 7.5k I couldn't honestly believe the change it made.

Niki believes he can achieve 250bhp purely by porting the exhaust manifold ;)

Thanks for all the comments chaps :D
