Exactly mate. I paid 20 for pair of arms sand blasted and painted them my self. Fitted them spherical joints 160. The cb inserts at 40 and the powerflex front bushes where 90 lol so that's £310 just on my lower arms .... I am going to have to delete all messages with costs posted .... just in case the other half sees them..

Today didnt go as well as I'd planned. BUT! I Still got some decent work done!
Wire wheeled the TT arms id bought with the rear spherical bushes. Then pressed the fronts out and put the 45 to 30mm reducing collars in.

Thankfully the bushes were already pressed into the collars which was a nice suprise when i came to work this morning. Then i painted them gloss black.
I wanted to jazz them up with a little blue hear and there (as i do ) but just didnt have the time:(.

1st test drive the ends of the arms were knocking on the brake guard. Didnt realise but the holes for the ball joints are slats so i pushed them as far out as theyd go because i alsi think these TT arms are slighlty longer than my R arms. @Mamic172 is this right? Or can anybody else weigh in? On the plus side ive inadvertently given myself negative camber. Down side it was a NIGHTMARE to track but i got there in the end.

On to the spacers. Prepped, primed and painted the sides gloss black.

but couldnt fit them as id bought the wrong friggin bolts!!! :banghead: bought conical seat instead of 60° radius. Also lost my caliper seal kit so couldt fit them. Then i fixed the leaky osf tyre and swapped the fronts for the rears. Cleaned out the threads in the hubs

and wire wheeled every wheel bolt. Which i wouldnt of had to do if id of bought the right ones :censored:.

I would pull the ball joint out as far as it can go.. . It will just give you camber. If you got a local motorsport place they might lend you a camber gauge. So you can make sure it's tight side to side

Ye i did that, plus we have a laser tracking ramp so the camber was about 20 minutes different either side was something like 1°40' and 1°20' negative camber. Got the toe in perfect eventually.

Bought these recently

they only took 10 mims a side to fit, just full locked the steering wheel and undid 3 of the torx25 screws from the arch liner. Swapped the old for the new, out and 'repeated'
