I've stripped the laquer off one of the Merc wheels and they are in excellent condition, I'm so pleased with them!

Change of plan with the wheels, there were going to be fully polished.
Buut I didn't think it would suit my car so they have been painted.
I'm also painting the mirror cover and badges gloss black.
No real update on the cups for the suspension though

I finally have adaptors!
So fingers crossed my wheels will be on Saturday!
I managed to crack my windscreen aswell getting my MTB in the car so that was fun.

Update,

The Merc wheels are on,
I also bought a flip key FR taxdisk tinted indicators and a VR6 splitter

Rear spring seat, should lower the back by an inch hopefully!

VR6 splitter

I have 195 40 16 on the back now just need to get a pair for the front.
Then I'm going to order shoreter springs for the front and fit the custom spring seats on the back and it should look loads better!

The VR6 splitter is on and I'm really happy with it.
It was a pain in the ar*e! But was worth it.
The only problem now is when the car goes lower it is going to be permanently on the floor

Wheels look great, not sure on splitter (although its different to the usual LCR jobbie so good work there!)

Cheers Mike, yea I don't really like LCR splitters on pre-facelifts so I though I would try something else.
It's really growing on me, looks much better in person than in the pics!

I totally agree. LCR splitters on pre-facelif look terrible! But this looks great, nice one for thinking outside of the box

The splitter looks a decent enough job and quite different but the wheels are all wrong for the car mate sorry, they just look like big hub caps. I don't see this fascination with sticking Mercedes wheels on anything and everything :S Just my 2 pence worth. You should colour code that side strip though

Cheers Gaz, with the wheels it's what you like i suppose, could say the same about porsche wheels really! My only problem was I don't really like any of the standard Seat wheels so it was always going to be a set from another car
