Nah I wanted a E46 330d m sport but I can't get insured on my current policy, they would only insure me on a 320d :(

I know they are not to everyone's taste but I like them :D

Could be the pictures I'm not very good with a camera I just borrow it off a mate and point and shoot :p
I will get some better daytime ones :)

Another small update, got the 195/40/16 tyres fitted up front, so no more rubbing :)
Fitted a set or 5mm Eibach spacers instead of the cheap crap that came with the wheels, and fitted some new HID's and number plate bulbs.
And Lastly got my pressed plates on :)

Well Saturday night on the way back from a meet in Earls Court I managed to hit a raised manhole cover in roadworks.
It's ripped a hole in the subframe and set off both of the front seat belt tensioners :(
I will get some pics up later of the damage.

Ouch!

Looks a bit nasty, but should be easy to fix i would think.

Just get the oxy burner out to get the old bolts off!

The cars being mapped Tuesday which should be good,
I've just fitted a boost guage in the air vent on the drivers side using a mk2 TT vent pod.
And just generally given it a tidy up :)

I had exactly the same problem with my polo went over a cattle grid was very low and it ripped the wishbone out!

The car went in for mapping today, but was too low to get on the rollers!
It was ok but nothing amazing after the map.
Then i had a coilpack go when i got home!
So a trip to VW and a changed coilpack and it feels good.
Quicker than before so :)

The car seems to have settled in now and feels alot quicker, im happy now! :)
Arch roller turned up today, so my arches will be rolled sometime soon.
We will be testing it on my mates E46 touring thats on air.
And the VR6 splitter will be on again tomorrow night

Got the splitter on tonight :) chopped the bottom of the bumper off to get it sitting more flush.

Car looks brilliant, really like those Borbet's.

I have a couple of questions which would help with my own. How are you finding the TA Technix Coilovers? They seem to be the only budgets (JOM's, FK's etc) which can go as low as 100mm, so I think I might be going for a set. Any problems? I can deal with squeaks as the standard suspension does that!

Also did you remove the light unit to do the lamin-x or just stick it on the car? :)

Thanks

They are fine mate, I've taken the helpers out cut the bump stops all round and taken the adjuster out on the back and it has about an inch or so of clearance from subframe to floor.
The rides painful to be honest!

Yep lights out for lamin-x they are easy to get out though :)

Cheers Matt :D
