Haha wait until you see it close up, are you goin to the SVAG meet at the end of the month G? Not been to one in a while so I'll prob go along.

Yeah guys I'm going to get it just the OEM colour, I love Ovni Yellow it's just a shame it fades ... though my friends brother said he'll do a base coat and laquer on top so that it doesen't fade as bad? Sounds good to me!

Look so much better with the Cupra bumper mate!

How about a yellow pearl if you get the whole respray done?

I was thinking that, it's metallic too isn't it?

Problem is I don't want to get the door shuts, engine bay etc all done as well as the mates rates only cover so much lol... but would be paint be very different that it would be noticeable the shuts are different? Hmm...

I'm not too sure how the pearl is put into the paint. I think it's mixed in with the basecoat. I personally wouldn't bother with the door shuts etc as the colour won't be much different. You'd just have a really nice pearl flip on the outside.

LoL - Tell me about it! I'll wait until it's all lined up and give it a clean and get proper photos too. :)

The car is booked into get the exhaust re-aligned on Thursday (C+C Stainless Exhausts, Hillington) and I treated it to some NXT yesterday afternoon so it's looking a little better and will look good in the recess - they are going to move it out a little bit too. :)

Also yesterday I've removed the two faded TDI badges on each of my wings and I have taken the badges off the back of the car (No sign of them with regards to paint fade!) so next week I'll get some new photos taken, also got a couple of 20MM Hub-centric rear spacers on the way this week too.

New vRS ARB & Bushes getting fitted next weekend, along with a new ABS cable so my warning lights will go off and my TCS will actually work.

These little things will make a big difference to the car, it's just been serviced and had all fluids etc sorted out so its ready for the winter.

Will update next week with some new photos! :)

Sounds good mate :)

Does your back end get really dirty with all the diesel soot? Mines covered in black spots!

Haha yeah! The bottom corners of the bumper seem to get dirty very soon ... I wonder if it'll get better or worse when I fit the spacers?

Here is a quick photo I took after giving it a clean, with the badges off and the exhaust cleaned a little - this will look a bit better next week. :)

I've been thinking about de-badging mine...does look a lot cleaner without them :)

LoL - Not a fan of centre exhausts. :(

Glad that I de-badged it though - looks much better I think with the Cupra bumper?

Got the car back today from having the exhaust done - you'll need to excuse the manky car.

Looks much better IMO.

Looks top notch mate. Having the exhaust extended out a bit will help lessen the soot build up on the back of the car. I know that the back of mine is less sooty now with the new exhaust.

Thanks for the comments folks... Hopefully I'll put my good wheels back on and get some good photos this weekend. :)
