Today is a good.. Wait. A GREAT day.

My 290 arrived today.

Wow.. What a machine!!

Don't get me wrong, I get to drive high performance cars all day long on road and race tracks as part of my job but when looking at the value for money on the Cupra, I'm amazed.

Very happy with my choice..

SC in Dynamic Grey and manual box as I'm old school and like to heal and toe etc on track.

Anyway... Here's some pictures

Manual box is very nice!! DSG felt a little numb and characterless to me.. There was a point where I wasn't sure if I made the right choice.. I certainly did!

Nice car man. I'm in hospital as we speak recovering from surgery, I don't think I'm going to be able to drive my cupra for a good 2 weeks !!!! I'm not looking forward to it. Nice car though, I have a 280 5 door DSG, second hand though cos I'm cheap

Dynamic grey looks awesome in the flesh, I'm really happy with it..
Has a slight hint of blue to it in the sun.

Boj27 - sucks doesn't it! Realistically I think I'll have a 4 week ban on driving after the surgery later today.. Ripped the distal bicep tendon off the bone at my elbow while boxing so having it reattached which will be fun!

I have no idea.. Although haven't looked. Full link is awesome, impressed with that! Display screen functionality is also very good.. Wheels look different to others I've seen? But really like them..

Do you know what the differences are?

You need to remap it to be able heel and toe.

The dynamic grey really looks good in the flesh photos don't do it justice iv had mine 6 weeks and have loads of coments on the colour done 1700 miles already just nipping to the shop lol

My inability to heel and toe the golf due to the height of the brake compared to the accelerator along with that weird thing it does where it cuts fuel and limits revs when the brake is pressed is part of the reason I chose DSG this time.

Admittedly I am crap at heel and toe at the best of times. I'm even worse at double clutching.

I love the dynamic grey, best colour the Cupra comes in I'd say..

I've heard about the VW fuel cut when left foot breaking, I'll give it a go and see what happens. If it needs a map to delete the safe guard then I'll get it done as plan on a couple track days once I'm recovered

Lovely colour! Lovely motor. It's the colour I wanted my FR in, but I settled on dark grey.
