My New FR Rear Bumper

Does anyone know how easy it is to do the side strps on the doors?
Or is it easier to take them out and buy ready sprayed ones

Cheers ad lav but need to do side strips first which are a pain when waxing the car

Same principle, 4 or 5 holes that need welding, filling and smoothing, my best mate works in a bodyshop and offered to do mine but just bought some new ones and got them painted before fitting.

IIRC the side strips are gits to get off without messing up and bending and cracking.

Most people buy and spray new ones then, pull the old ones off and replace.

Pretty sure flash red is different to ours Ad.. the earlier mk1 leons and mk3 beeza's were flash red..

Should look nice matey, have to admit yours and jenk's are on the top for best looking beeza's imho!

I thought that too but bodyshop said codes were similar if not the same, pass!

bumper looks good lav, have considered doing that to mine if i go down the euro route

It wasn't easy to do and has taken a while but worth it, the bumper was 2nd hand and scratched all over, can't tell now though!

The centre part was painted same colour as my wheels for a bit of contrast, hopefully fitting tonight now as my mate finishes work early!

At long last, its only been 5 months or so but it was worth the wait!

Looks so phat, just need wider rear wheels now, that's on the list to do...

Its unreal how much better it looks, having smoothed off the reflectors makes so much difference too, bigger area to polish though...

Parents reckon it looks like darth vader?? lol

I think a Milltek is on the way...

Got 2 spare VRS alloys, I might widen the rears by 1.5'' by using the spares and the originals, bit of magic welding needed...

I'm so chuffed with it though, front one to come!
