after wanting a mk3 beezer 20vT for ages and not finding the right one - i decided to go ahead and get a mk2 Cupra Sport and when i finally sell my bolf i can clear some of my debt and treat my new cupra to a few things.

So shes a 97 2.0 16v Gti Cupra Sport - i was a little confused as to the difference between the gti and cupra sport but after searching loads of threads on here i found out the cupra sport is the same but lighter - hence i have no sunroof, no air con and supposedly 30% lighter sound proofing. (i spent a whole afternoon at work last week finding that out)

hope you all like her - im really pleased with her anyways :D
apologies for the autotrader pics - as soon as i have cleaned her i wil post up some nice shots

she is unmolested at the mo ;) as soon as i sell my other car she will be treated to coilovers and some deep dishes and then go from there - dont want to do too much to her, just clean her up, remove the bump strips, colour code the sideskirts and front and rear diffusers etc - so she is clean and simple.
going to change the front mesh on the grill this week to black mesh as i think the silver looks slightly chavvy.

There's no F in Quality..
looks good

word of warning if you're thinking about taking the side bump/rub strips off.... don't !! I tried it on my 8v, and it peeled the laquer off in a couple of places :(

the doors come off ok, just double sided sticky tape, but it's the rear quarters that are a PITA, as they're stuck on with some type of 'resin' that's really hard, and chips off taking the laquer with it!!

im going to do it - i will take it to the bodyshop to do it - dont mind what it costs - im female - if i decide im going to do something i will - regrdless of hassle - i will leave it till i get the diffusers sprayed so that its not an expensive job to do on top - cheers tho!

Looks good mate :D

when do you get your plates on it?

as soon as i get the new v5 through - then make a trip to the DVLA Local office in reading - then have to wait ages til the paperwork comes through!
effort!
but im happy just to have the car now! waited long enough!

Very nice :D

Regarding the name and the spec etc. it dosnt usually mean anything, its all about what mood pedro was in that day ;)

lol - it means i have a cupra not just a gti lol - althought the gti is better spec cos of aircon etc but my logbook states cupra sport - so i can say i have a cupra :D

Yeah and I was disagreeing with your choice.

Saxo owners mesh their grilles...do you want people to mistake your car for one?
