Hi there, Ive been a hardcore vw fan since the tender age of 12 and have several mk1 golfs but i have always had a soft spot for the seat leon cupra r so yesterday i hiked up to chesterfield to pick up my new favorite toy.
Its a seat leon LCR in platinum grey with black rims. Its had done all the modifications that i was looking to do already....AMD stage 1 remap, Forge DV, Full powerflow exhaust system, FMIC, Pipercross induction kit & boost gauge. Prob a few more things that ive forgotten but u get the idea.
I searched auto trader, ebay, pistonheads & seat cupra.net for over 6 months while saving my hard earned pennies and found what i believe to be a bargain of a life time, it was up for £3695 but the trader dropped it to £3095 so he could shift it b4 xmas so i quickly called him up an gave him a deposit over the phone as i thought even if it needed a bit of work it was still a bargain and was exactly what i was looking for. It drives incredible and is a real smooth ride compared to some of my old mk1 golfs.
Im not looking to do a massive amount to the LCR apart from maybe a stage 2 remap, decent head unit & speakers and poss a bigger turbo upgrade 1 day.
be great to hear from other owners and maybe do some meets soon, im in exeter in devon so i imagine bristol is the closest place for me where there may some meets. Any other LCR owners on here close to exeter?
