just noticed i only saw the 1st page of the thread and was commenting on the leon (im a newbie) but the cup is also very nice
 
Haven't seen the clio for little while, but a had a delivery from Puremotorsport.



















So we have the Comp race engine mounts, strengthened CUP wishbones (gives more caster) with bearing conversion and weather seals, low temp stat, stud n nut conversion and the preloaded top mount bearings (makes the steering heavier) :smile:

Should make a nice addition and work well with the roll centre hubs. Can't wait to get them so I can get it rolling :smile:

Will update as the parts go on.
 
Looking good man. Cant wait to see this on track. Its gonna handle like a dream. Should keep up with some quicker cars through bends
 
I'd love a 172/182 on the drive for trackdays - looking at threads like this makes me look at pistonheads!

Bagged the last ever made RS2 manifold.



Not quiet ITB's and will be about 20BHP down on ITB's but I won't have any reliability issues or problems like cold start or having the ITB's balanced.
But will see a nice 200BHP GroupN timing and maybe a tad more with some different cams.
Should be pretty lively weighing nothing and my suspension set up.

Need to sort an Ecu firstly and bigger brakes before all that lol

I just sold a 197 I was going to track prep but missed having booooost!
 
That filter does look a little small but I'm sure your be able to fit a nice sized filter in the available space.
Will you be getting water meth? Don't really hear of many using it on a n.a car.

Is a tad small looking lol. I'm sure it can flow enough, but the manifold is designed to be a bolt on no modding needing kit so would need to be small to clear the battery and Ecu etc, but as I've relocated the battery and Ecu and I'm running totally different gear box mount I reckon I'll beable to have a bigger filter or even use my ITG maxogen intake with it.

Haven't looking into meth never seen anyone running it on n/a like you say maybe worth a little look tho haha.
 
Been debating weather to sell the leon recently but couldn't bring my self to. Lol

Nothing else out there Id wanna replace it with and I generally like it too much, so decided I miss the exhaust note of the miltek I had and ordered a decat and non res cat back system from a mate a VWRacing. Bargain at £558 plus postage :)

So will be looking into stage 2 map also :) as well finishing the clio :)
