ok to update this got the new valve today fitted and checked all hoses everything looks ok no signs of splits or cracks took a short drive and still only seams to boost to 1.2 bar max and holding 1.1 bar
could it possibly be the way the car has been mapped as i dont get a sudden burst of boost more of a constant power delivery???

I'd take it back to who mapped it and ask them, Does it feel weaker than when you first had it mapped ???

Haven't taken the N75 valve off to check but would a 4mm hose fit on the valve instead of the 8mm one?
If I get the correct hose though would it be alright to connect it to the inlet manifold instead of the charge pipe?

Why do you want to do this ???

If you do do it you will have to blank off the pipe on the charge pipe.

it does feel slightly down on power never had a boost gauge when had the map done so cant realy say what boost it was running at that time.
i can remember jim saying that it would be a more progressive boost instead of aggrasive but surely should still be hitting higher than 1.1-1.2 bar as it still managed 265 bhp

I will have to blank the larger hole when I relocate the dump valve (Forge supply a plug for this anyway) but going to get the charge pipe powder coated so thought it would look cleaner if the 2 holes were filled in properly beforehand
