If you want to apply a big optical transformation to your car, then I highly recommend adding sideskirts and a front splitter/lip. As usual, I wanted to choose something else than Maxton design and I found this German company called CSR automotive. Their products looked good and I gave it a try

I was most excited about the sideskirts, I love the design of this "wing-type" sideskirt, just wow

And then the splitter, a simple design which coincides with lines in the bumper

Time for installation! The sideskirts come with preinstalled high quality double sided tape, but I added some hightack kit or something for extra sticky power. I don't want these things to come off on the highway and even though the tape should be enough, I added some extra adhesive...

CSR gives you this surface cleaner from 3M, which works well

And I decided to mount the front spoiler using rivnuts. Since I did not have that tool in my collection yet, I found one on Amazon. And let me tell you, this is a great addition to any "toolbox"! I used it on my girlfriends Opel Adam first, where 2 captive nuts on the frame came loose.

Stick the spoiler on the car and start drilling. Its always a bit nerve wrecking once you start drilling in original pieces

And I simply love the end result A buddy of mine talked me into this, and I am glad I listended to him. Now when I look back at older pictures, the Cupra looks naked

In the Netherlands we have a lot of these "humps" in public parking spaces, so having some clearance is nice. This is the clearance with stock ride height

I love how you documented everything that well, congrats, also did you lower the car? Because i would like to but you know how NL is with the bumps and everything

Thanks a lot, I document everything for myself, but also to help others who run into the same things

My ST is not lowered, stock springs & stock Monroe DCC dampers. The rear has been refreshed in the meantime with new Monroe dampers & Eibach springs, but they are not the pro/proline lowering springs, but 1:1 OE replacements.

I surely love a lowered look, but I wanted to keep it practical for me

Posted the video yesterday for installing the KOZO 3.5" heatshielded downpipe. Unfortunately, I did not film the whole process as it was quite difficult to remove the original downpipe as space is tight. Installing the new downpipe which consists of a few parts and does not have the big catalyst directly after the Vband, is way easier.
