How worried should I be that my passenger side front wheel sits further out from my car than the drivers side??????

Ive had the car in at my local stealers and they didnt even pass comment on it AFTER I had pointed it out to them.
Any ideas on what it could be thats causing it?

If its the top of the wheel it could be wheel bearings. I hit a curb and mine was sticking out until I replaced the hub and found that the wheel bearings were completely shot. (after chaning the wishbone only for it to make no difference)
Its the actual whole wheel!!!!!
I thought at first that it was just the tracking that was out but to drive it didnt feel like it and theres no abnormal tyre wear as you would perhaps expect.
Its as if my wheel has had a spacer fitted to it!
Im needing to get it fixed asap as the warranty runs out at the end of July and im looking to sell up anyway.

Are you getting any unusual tyre wear? Could be camber / toe alignment. Has t had the suspension changed at any point in its life? It will cost you in grip and braking if its badly out, not to mention safety so it may be worth getting a beissbarth alignment
Definitely get it checked then, sounds like somethings gone pete tong down under. Can't believe dealer didn't pick it up, but they generally don't unless somethings hanging off in their face. Don't put off getting it looked at, if you had an accident it could come back to haunt you as they could blame you. Plus you wouldn't want you or your family hurt. Too difficult to diagnose without seeing it.
I must add, my "local" stealers is over 100 miles away and its not easy getting time off work to get the car down to them. Its also getting to the stage where im asking myself if im doing the car any further harm by driving it.
I can remeber how good the car was when I first got it. I was totally amazed by the handling as I came from a civic type r!

Im at the very north of Scotland and as you would probably expect, there are no what you would call "speciallists" up here.
I might just give them a call tomorrow and tell them AGAIN what the problem is and of my concerns etc. and that im not 100% happy to drive the car the 100 odd miles down the road to them.
I do however need my car for travelling from my house to my work. Where would I stand in getting a courtesy car from them for the time they have my car?

Maybe try jacking up the front of the car under the front jacking points and giving a good tug on the front wheels (on each side) to see if there is any play. Wouldn't use a scissor jack to do it though as its too weak. I only know of Star performance in Scotland, but they are undoubtedly miles from you.

Aye, they are in Aberdeen which is well onto 250 miles away from me!!!!
If I had a trolley jack I would go out and do that the now but unfortunately it back home in Campbeltown in the back of my parents car!!!!

Surely though with the wheel in the position that it is there has to be a fault somewhere?? I do know what they are like so I know what you are getting at.

Nope, I dont have any breakdown cover. I didnt worry about it before as my last car was a Honda.
I will phone them tomorrow and see what they are saying. Ive had many dealings with the before and I am on first name terms with the employees!!!
