need a cv joint

im need an outer cv for the cupra but i find they are all 2000 onwards now the car is a 2000 (x plate) but i want to be sure also nobody mentions turbo, just 1.8

they seem to be very cheap on ebay, generally about a score! dont wanna take it to bits then find out its wrong so any info gratefully received, cheers

get one from eurocarparts and put your reg in, be sure then and the quality will be generally better.

Do you need the whole joint or the gaiter?

I put a genuine gaiter on mine last week, only about £20 with the clips and grease, the DS nut is £6 and should be replaced as it can only be used once.

prev owner replaced the gaitor but too late, noise was already there, i cant hear it when cold but after half hour its more noticable on fullish lock
