Hi I recently got my k03 turbo changed to k04 internals.
The company I used was Turbocentre Uk ltd Unit 10 Victoria Spring Business Park West Yorkshire.
Turbo took over 3 weeks to do when they promises less then a week.
Turbo finally arrived.
The inlet housing was 45 degrees out so I had to have a custom oil feed pipe fitted.
Finally got the turbo fitted with a cleaned out sump new pipes and gaskets and an oil changed.
Car ran fine on idle.Took the car for a spin got it upto the boost and bang.
Turbo dided less than a mile from the garage.
Got the car back. They took the turbo off and the nut holding the turbine had come off damaged the turbine and wedge its self into place.Obvious badly put together.
Spoke to the company today. Apparently due to lack of oil the turbine got very hot hit the side housing displaced the bolt. They have agredd to fix the turbo as a good will gesture.
I am not happy as I know the oil flow was fine.Oil changed, cleaned out sump, oil feed pipes replaced. I do not belive what they are saying.
Spoke to a mechanic at vw and a common failure for these turbo is the bolt coming off.
Can anyone give me some suggestions on what to say to this company.[:@]

That is really bad luck, all i can say is as long as they are going to put it all back to new with out charge then don't say anything, just make sure you get any further warranty in writing in case it happens again, and never use them again.

Wish I could but really annoyed with them.Got to pay fitting costs again plus all the parts gaskets etc comes to over £100.
If any one was thinking of using TurboCentre beware the standard is terrible.
