need help quickly

i have just installed my headunit and subs and amps in my mk1 leon
all these have never been together yet so was expecting some problems
problem 1-2:
i have no radio signal i have installed one of those amplifier things from halfords and it made no difference (and yes i have wired it into my power ant and i have also tried my remote lead) as well as this when i power it up with the amplifier in it turns off my amps for my subs
oh yeah i have a alpine cda-9855r head unit and old v12 analog amps and type-r subs

doesn't matter now gone out to have a play and alls working still got a bad signal but i can now pickup one station which is better than none

hi where did you wire your 12v amp lead if from the bat where did you get it into the car any pics
