Need help subwoofer !!!!

Somebody Help Me ive got a little 12 inch vibe slick and for a couple days now and it works fine but if i turn it up the subwoofer plus amp cuts off ????? i cant work it out ..... i think it could be either the ground point maybe ??? or my head unit anyone got any suggestions !!!!!

whats the power rating of ur amp wire? 4/8 gauge?

Get some 10mm power and earth cabling in there, with platinum connectors. Back in the day when I was younger and had all this - but then that was like 3500W of subbage.............. now its all about "less is more" and lightweight and cooling is key!

Wires, or too much clipping on the amp, drop in voltage to the amp as its drawing too much, could be a host of things. But my money would be on wiring not up for the job. Make sure you have a good earth and good live. Then if that doesnt stop it, look to the head unit, it maybe pushing its limits with the subwoofer.
Are you powering it thou a RCA from the head unit, or from the rear speaker signals to RCA conversion?

I had a similar problem, turned out the bass was actually vibrating the cables so much that they came loose lol, don't know if it's the same with you though

ether the earth cant handle it or thers not enough power gettin to the amp when you crank it up, you mite need a power cap or as everyone else has said try thicker cable as tht is the cheaper alternative
