Need help with cupra exhaust please...

hey guys, i have a 54 plate leon cupra, which i have had a carbonio CAI and 007p recirc valve fitted to.

I have always liked the double exhaust, but now i am begining to think double exhausts are a little 1990s, and want an oval one - similar to the R one

Im not too keen on a whole new exhaust, and would be perfectly happy with just the backbox

Im not even sure if getting just a backbox is an option???

I dont know anything about exhausts, so any help would be appreciated

If i need a whole new system - which one? and how much?

Not looking for something chavy, just want a bit of a classy sound from it

Also looking for something which fits nicely into the exhaust bit, dont want one which sticks out too much or sits sideyways etc as i have seen on some

when i had my alfa it needed a new exhuast to get through the MOT. i had a replacement fitted at local tyre and exhaust place but the tailpipe was different to the OE alfa one. Took it to powerflow in Derby and they welded me a new tailpipe to it.

cost about £40 from what i remember.

You could also go for a custom made stainless steel job...?

From the cat back you could get one fitted for as little as 180! Have any tailpipe design you like and have a lifetime warranty???

turbo back is as it says exhaust piped from turbo right through where as cat back is from the catalytic convertor to the back box

jetex did a letter box cat back. theres also miltek which im currently using. i rekon supersprint looks the most impressive.

blueflame seem the best value but a minority of people have had fitment issues

miltek do full turbo back systems, but the end is twin jets like the standard cupra exhuast-not to everyones taste (myself included)

yep ive the twin... but thought miltek did an oval too?

unfortunately its just twins for the LC they do otherwise id have bought one

weren't the fitment issues on the early attempts of the exhaust,think they have been addressed now any one know ?

Where do you get your figures from mate?
I got my superspring cat-back for my LC for £320 delivered. Quality is excellent.
