Need Help with Reverse Light

Hi i need help with a wierd reverse light problem i got everytime i start my car my reverse light flashes and makes a loud beepin sound for two seconds put when i put the car and put it in reverse the light dont come on i changed the reverse sensor but it still dont work. also if i disconect my sensor the car dosnt make the beeping sound please someone help me thanks alot

Sounds like somebody has put one of these in place of the normal bulb

Has it started doing it all of a sudden, or have you just bought the car?

i bought the car like it and i changed yh bulb a few times but nothing i connected the vag-com and it dont show no fualt :/ the car is a cat d soo i dnoo what wrong with it :/

but is the beeping from the rear of the car, or from the dash - like it does for the seatbelt reminder?

it comes from my left rear speaker the beep stops if i disconnect my sensor but the buble still flashes when i start the car

It might have had parking sensors before the accident and they left the wiring behind the new bumper..

i dont think seat leon 1.6 se come wth reverse sensors :/

aftermarket parking sensors? the wires mite be attached to the reverse parking light (trigging the beep when you engage the reverse gear)? wires are located at the boot on the passenger side (where the side basket is). should be a flap that you can open to check the wiring.

yhh i checked that too nothing extra on there i think its somthing to do with the relays but i need too see a diagram too see if im missing any
