I did a small search up the forum, apparently you need access to VAG-COM and enable staging under instruments.

I think the computer side of things has the ability to sweep as the Torque app for android sweeps when the ignition is turned on. Just the dials in the car don't seem to recognize it.

Just to drag up this old chestnut again...

I take it this is a MK4 Ibiza Cupra? :(

There is also a guy on the Polo forum enabling the indicator sweep for polo/golf instrument clusters that can't normally do it:

Actually, that needle sweep appears to be on a 2013 Ibiza Cupra.

So the question is, does this work only on 2013 Cupras, on Turkish ibizas, or does it just need the latest version of 12.12 Vagcom to enable the adaption channel?

"17-Instruments -> 10-Adaptation -> Channel -> indicator_celebration -> active"

Ack, unfortunately Vagcom 12.12 didn't allow this to work on mine, so must just be certain new models.
Worth a go though if you have a pretty recent model.
