Morning, I bought a Seat net partition / dog guard from eBay but didn't check if my car had the eyelets in the headliner to attach to (see screenshot of manual below).
I could return it but would quite like to fit as I had one in a previous car and they're very useful.

Does anyone know if the eyelets can be retrofitted or what the part number is?

Not sure if this would interfere with curtain airbag as I'd be looking to fit these myself.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

I suspect they can be retrofitted as I've never seen a car which came with them from new. I have seen a car which had the fittings removed leaving nasty looking holes in the headlining. I'm not sure it's something I would do.

I have this fitted to my Cupra from factory.

Part Nos are here:

You will need 2 x sets of the retaining eyelets (left and right handed), plus the connections that fit into the back of the rear seats. With rear seats forward, the net fixes to these. Will post photos to aid explanation.

Remove the rear grab handle, then pull the headlining away and you should be able to see if the threaded fixing points are present before you start ordering parts or cutting into the headliner.
Sorry to be a pain, is there any chance you can post a picture of the fixtures in the boot that the body attaches to when it's behind the rear seats? It seems I will have to order these parts too as I had assumed it would fit in the same recess as the luggage cover. Appreciate the help!

looks like 2 x 12, plus 2 x 15-17 on the EKTA diagram above, noting that part 15 and 15(a) is left and right handed so will need one of each part number. Hope that makes sense?

Sorry to highjack this thread but I was hoping to retrofit the whole system, but it seems a large amount. What I am hoping to do is install a simple hook into the rear headliner and attach some netting to that. I am presuming that the mounting are alrady there under the roof liner?
I am not sure what "bolt" I would need ( I only need the rear "hooks" I am guessing its 25 ?
Thanks

It's the link in my first reply ?

I would say 2 x 17A, 27 (1 x L and 1 x R), 2 x 28, then 2 x 25. However, this will make a mess of the headlining.

Also the hooks (male part) are on the net, and the female are part of the fitment.

Yes I thought that , so i was thinking of something along the ideas of a hook like the one in the image. Then drilling a small hole in the headling and boltying it to the headling.

I popped off my grab handle and pulled the headliner away a bit.
Although I could definately see the fixing point for the cargo net but I am not sure about the holes being threaded, they didnt look thick enough.
But they must be standard on all the estate bodies I would have thought?

I think that I made an error in post #5. The threaded hole for #25 bolt comes from bracket #29, hence the list of parts I mentioned in my reply to you.

Looks like it uses part #17a (a Rivnut) to act as the threaded bushing, to anchor part #29 to the car?
I think that we are in agreement, but the EKTA diagrams are not always accurate. Looks like 17A and corresponding bolt 28, hold bracket 29 in place. Then bolt 25 in to bracket 29.
