I meant the DV take off kit, as the P-FLow and BSH kit both don't have the DV pipe coming off the intake below the MAF assembly, unlike the TWINtake and ITG etc. ;)

The BSH one does mate in the link Damo posted up.

Or have I read it wrong? which is a possibilty :(

The link to the Pflow on Awesomes site certainly doesn't show a DV take off though

Ive not got a cupra but a sport tfsi. I had my neuspeed 4 over 3yrs luv it 2 bits with extended pipe, so cone sits in wheel arch, well away from engine heat, so no need 4 heat shield over turbo. I also got miltec exhaust + the sound is way more crazy than the clip shown with the red cupra. With the extended pipe the sound is mad when u hit around 4000 rpm big difference to when i leave it in the engine bay, so i just leave it there

You'll still need the heatshield over the Turbo regardless where the filter is, have you felt that bit of pipe after a long run???

I'd of thought the Cupra would be a fair bit louder then a tfsi sport what with the more power and air needed to suck in.

Yeh I saw that, but reading the description and looking at the other products they offer, the DV relocation port is for if you want to relocate your DV to somewhere else in the engine bay (funny enough lol). You can buy the Intake and Relocation Kit together for £360 I think.

Don't think it'll work with the Cupra by the look of it, unless you do as Rob said and bodge it!!:blink:

Isn't the DV relocation kit for people with a k03 who may want to move it to where it is on a K04?

Think I may need to shut up lol, I maybe barking up the wrong tree here :D

Nice point but isnt the heat better to get away from the turbo in the long run than just to make 2bhp with a colder pipe or should i make a aliminum heat shield tomorow in work. nice point tho ta

Yeh that's what I mean, you're right, it's for the K03, but doesn't have this pipe near the MAF housing:

Good price though, wish it did fit, reckon they'd sell a lot of them!

No, hotter turbo keeps exhaust gases higher which makes them flow out of the exhaust faster. That's why some ceramic coat turbo's and heat wrap Downpipes. (side effect is also lower under bonnet temp's.

But, at the same time, you want to keep inlet temp as low as poss for more bang, hence better IC and trying to keep the filter pipework cooler.

If you zoom right into the picture from the link Damo put up mate I think I can see this pipe off from the main pipe. The description to me of this kit say's it should fit our K04'd cars without any modification's necessary.

Suppose an email to Bsh or to Dubtek may clarify though.

Where's Poverty!!!

Sure his mate had a BSH on his Cupra.

Think he also posted up the picture I saw of the broken lug off the side off the engine due to no give in the pipework. Although, maybe this could also be down to fitting issue's, ie maybe not ligned up correct or over-tightened.
