Decided to move on from the stock FR alloys and buy a new set. Ino everyone has different taste on which alloys look good or not but am thinking of getting these Dare LG2 alloys in Matt black to fit on my FR which is also in black. Just want some opinions on these and maybe some different alloys that you may think would look nice. Iam on a budget and preferabley looking to spend around £350-£450. Could go higher if I saw something I really liked.

They are just not 'quite as nice' rotiform rep's. Personally If on a budget I would keep an eye on the second hand market. Lots of good quality wheels around.

I have these wheels on mine mate look smart but hard too clean haha

I can email u a pic but they wont let me post one until ive posted 15 times lol

Mary black are a PITA to keep clean, any dirty rain and they look like they've been say in a barn for 10 years. They'd look good on a Leon but as said, they're just reps of higher budget wheels. Check ebay, PH, gumtree etc for 2nd hand

Keep the fr ones!

Get them refurbed and some spacers and a nice ride height!

They look good!

This does look really good, would work out cheaper just to refurb lol arghh I hate decisions haha

All depends what style your after!

Personally i dont like the heavily modified look and think its best to improve on what seat gave you! But thats my approach to modifying! All in cost me £39 to do wheels and mirrors

Right I've decided am going to get a new set off alloys and keep the FR ones for winter. Now I don't no which to go for 17inch or 18inch. The ride height at the moment is standard but will be being lowered 40mm all round when I get chance to fit my kit. What's your thoughts on how it would look either with 17 or 18 ?

I think cars look lower with smaller wheels

Car will look lower with 40mm drop and 17's as opposed to 18's and a 40mm drop! Might look roller skate(ish) with 18's! Maybe someones got some pics to help you decide

After lots of thinking of which alloys to get I've decided to go for 18" BBS CH reps. I'll post photos when they've arrived and got them fitted.
