i've had mine lowered 30mm :D (althought the back end still sits up[:@] , looking into getting some even lower rear springs;) ) so i have a little concern with regard to arch rub!:(

I like these Audi wheels on E-Bay but I don't think they will fit with the 40 profile tyres on them.
I reckon they would need 30 profile tyres.
Norrie.

i thought you could run 40mm profile tyres on 17's?
was hoping to fill up the arches!
after doing the searchy thing i've read that 18's rub big time [:@]

ooh wouldnt you like to know...

try some Keskin KT3's in a 17 inch fitment 8's up front and 9's out back

now shut it ;)

i cant remember although i think the 8's are 23 and the 9's 18??....still waiting for my bodyshop to book me in to have the arches sorted...let me dig out some pics of when we trialled them up....

using a wheel offset calculator (google search) from the standard 6.5" wide rims with an offset of 43mm,
up to 9" with an offset of 18 extends the front face of the alloy out by 57mm!!!!:-o

you got a wide arch kit to fit:confused:

i cant remember..but thats how they fit!

as for arch kit..nooooo the arches will be pulled and then 205/40/17 tyres..see Mr Max's for clearance pics
