Maybe a stupid question but does that black paint on charge pipe and inlet manifold affect anyhow inlet temperatures? If i will paint my aluminium pipes with black paint then i've got a feeling that it will increase them somehow... im only guessing of course... or will it be so marginal that it doesnt matter ?

Nope it's fine just use high temp paint tho

Ur find you do need high temp paint soon mate I done my engine cover White that's an old pic of mine now pretty much all the paint has flaked off looks shite and it discolours goes creamy , will re do mine soon with high temp stuff , good thing with halfords paint is no need to rub down or prime it just spray on job done

Oh and Wayne you need to remove all that n249 shite on top of the rocker cover all ur end up with is the grey block and hide that under the charge pipe sleve

the charge and mani been done since oct last year and its still the same now mate as for the plastic engine cover iam sick off fooking painting it tried high temp paint and had it done by the paint shop and still same

Shake can spray let dry done lol, it's as easy as that with the hi temp paint from halfords and it's 6 quid bargin remove the charge pipe spray the mani on the car
