I know this has been touched upon elsewhere, but wanted to see if we could generate some evidence about DPF issues after the replacement of faulty fuel injectors.
If you have had a problem, please could you post the details, including any resolution, below.
If we group everything together, we will at least have some evidence which can be presented to dealers or SEAT UK.
Since the injector replacement, my DPF light has come on 6 times in 5 weeks. Previous to this, I have done the same daily commute for more than 3 years without the light coming on once. The car seems to have issues manually regenerating and it seems that the new parts are incompatible with the existing system.
Dealer says this is not a common issue and as long as light goes off, car is operating well. Surely this can't be right! I have been fortunate that I have so far had a clear road to clear the fault, but am not confident this will always be the case.
