Im going to swap the doors over and see what the end result is like. Chips away can't do an invisble repair because the chip on the door trim is too deep (plastic is dented) The door is coming from a brand new car so i'm sure everything will be ok.
The
dealer basically called me a liar (in their own words) and stated that the saleman did tell me about the other platinum cupra r they had in stock, what person in their right mind would have not taken the replacement...Blatant lie!
I know i probably could get a refund/relpacement but the
dealer is not playing ball, i really don't want to go to court over this, i just don't have the time and can't be without a car for long.
They are also replacing my brembos due to the laquer peeling, already!
When this is all finished i am going to name the
dealer, i was quite happy initially as i felt they were going to do their best to resolve the issue, but after the conversations i've had today my opinion has completely changed.
I also contacted Seat customer services regaring the problems, they were very helpful and contacted the
dealer to try and speed thing up. Unfortunately they can't do much else as the contract is between me and the supplying
dealer - understandable.
I hope everything works out with the door swap, i would really like to start enjoying the car.
