im due to pick up my new 54 plate leon FR on monday...just curious to do it have a "trip computer" on it...

and..i read somewhere on this forum how to change the computer so that the alarm plays a noise when you activate it, but also says that this is illegal in the uk...is this statement corrent??...

There are various readouts available - trip time/temp/clock/current mpg/average mpg/average speed/and probably some I've forgotten!

Cycle though using the end of the right hand stalk.

No idea what you are talking about. Only noises I have ever heard in the Leon is the low fuel warning, and the light on buzzer.

VAG-COM can change various alarm settings. You can make it chirp when the alarm is set and you can even change the tone of the alarm itself to various settings. You'll need VAG-COM and an appropriate lead to do it though, so have a read through the VAG-COM forum for info on what you need
