As I said above - people set themselves up for disappointment by expecting too much imho.

Yes there are similarities to the FR. Does it really matter that much? There are equal similarities to the Mk1 FR and the R.

The fact that they have been revealed so closely together must have something to do with it as well. I'm sure Seat know what they are doing. My dealer principle mentioned "the halo effect" to me the other day (for all you marketing bods).

They are both great cars and the Cupra is going to be awesome.

Roll on tomorrow and then Friday when I can get up close to one in the flesh.

IMO as close to a road version of a race car as we were going to get. Smashing.

I have to say that the ST looks dull in any colour other that orange, especially if it a 5 door.

Spot the differance.

Granted they could have done more but I’d be more concerned how it drives. And if our TDI Sport is anything to go by it’s going to run rings round the LCR.
<pedant>That's not actually a pic of the ST</pedant>

This is though. ;)

I'm sure you were still 18 in your head behind the wheel of your CupraR !!!

this kit to me is a perfect match between front bumper and bonet, stylish without going OTT.
