New Milltek now Smoke inside

Hi Guys

Had me milltek downpipe decat system fitted yesterday but ever since its been fitted when stationary you get a distintive smell of fumes inside the cabin! To me this sounds like a leak but why would i smell it in the cabin? anyone else had this!

Also on a new note ever since having the exhaust fitted the clutch now slips in low revs
3rd upwards. Do i need to buget for a new clutch????

Could be the smell of sealant and/or stickers on the exhaust cooking! Will probably go with a few more miles through the pipes...

seen as you have a re-map you will be close to 300lb/ft torque, am i right? if so then thats the standard clutches limits really

yeah mapped by forge dont know exact stats never put it on a rolling road!! looking to do that next but no use with a clutch slipping! how much am i looking for a performance clutch!

full sach organic clutch is about £300 from awesome, post a thread up in there section asking about them

I had that burning smell for about two weeks on my custom exhaust system.
Its just the sealant and the left over residue burning off.
Go for a drive for the day I'm sure if you hammer it hard for the day you'll wear off the smell!

i cant hammer it the clutch will go!!! god i love cars but if it isnt one thing its another!!!! So needs a new clutch and its also time for cambelt and water pump as well!!!

My car is mapped and my clutch has been slipping for over a year now. If you boot it below 2200 rpm in 3rd gear or above then it slips. The trick is to not put your foot down untill after 2200rpm and it will be fine. As i said mine hasn't gone in over a year now.

You shouldn't be booting it below 2500 ANYWAY!
