 Hi there,

Just found this Forum and it looks really usefull, but rather than search through every thread I thought I'd just get straight to it.

I,ve never had Seat before and I'm about to pick up my 03 Leon Cupra R (225) on Thursday and before I get in and kill it I was wondering if there was anything really important I need to know as far as taking care of this beast.

As I said, any info would be much appreciated.

:D Thanks

Yes 1st off, if the car is 03 plated it is not a 225.

225 cars were released Sept 2003 on 53 plate
210 cars 52/03 plate

let it warm up fully before having fun and be gentle for the last mile to cool the turbo. best establish what model youve got first;)

Thats a puch in the tummy!!! At least ull have the nice rear seats *if there recaro);)

Do you want to know the differance beetween a 210 and 225? there is stick at the top of the leon section!!

all in 4.5k plus fmic, brakes and suspension. its a bigger turbo with a custom remap. fastest on here tho runs at 370bhp odd. thats an lcr with similar turbo.
lots of very quick seats on here
then theres bills 500bhp ibiza......:-o

edging back on topic this shows that whatever cupra youve got there very very tunable cars. wouldnt worry about the 210 bit as i imagime they would remap to similar power??(ready to stand corrected)

The 210 and 225 remap to the exact same power. The performance when standard is the same too. So if it turns out this is a 210 - which judging by the 03 plate, it is - then don't at all be disappointed.

Sorry Mitchy, bit of a tryping error, it is a 53 plate not an 03 and it is a 225.

Traumapet, thanks for the info, much appreciated, by the way what is Jabba?

Thanks to everyone who has replied, I will have a good read through later on

Cheers
