P.s check the forge fmic gb section for my last post :D ;)

ok got these gauges in , and as tony would say .....theyre great , its 2.0 bar boost and 1100 degree F , EGT ,

wee video of them in action

http://media.putfile.com/100_033350
sorry bout crap vid ,..cameras hate me

boost hits 2bar 4 a second then holds 1.7 falling gradually , and under acceleration the egt gauge goes scary high ,

so there ya go

Your camera skills amaze me Stephen :p

Guages look ace though!! All you need is a dump valve to make the right noise as the boost needle drops off!! :D

ps....where did the boys at ECC run the boost pipe through the bulk head?? Im going to get meself another boost guage and mount it in a "different" location!!

I ruined your rep?!?!

Your inability to hold your drink ruined your rep :p

Ill find out ya cnut!! :D

I have the taping in sorted just want to know if there is a better/shorter route than through the bulkhead behind the glovebox!!

I want pics please stephen! DIY job?

Also we do use two always have something in your sig or avatars about me? Im getting worried! lol

today ive mostly been ,,,,,,,,,doing an engine mount

was easy i just jacked the car up n let steven (bbsboy) loose with a 16mm socket ,

id heard of the forge offerings for the leon, and thought a new mount ( no aftermarket one available) would tightrn things up a bit , the mount only cost 20 quid or so from the local dealers 4 months ago , i know im lazy , initial idea was to send to vibratechnics for rebushing , one off jobbie 85quid including return post , but i didnt want to destroy a perfectly good mount , so in it went today ,

4 bolts held it in and the engine didnt move a mm , but we had it braced anyhow under the sump:whistle: , 10 minute job tops , and car feels feels a bit more smooth n solid , hard to describe really ,

gonna send the now duff mount to VB for rebushing which il fit sometime ,

thats it in place

one baldy head (bbsboy a scary man with a ratchet) and a well supported sump:help:

it just felt dodgy brendan when it span up , i havent gave it much death , ssschh about the scooby driver steven , but its better than b4 , il try the upgraded bush one when its back , but if its to vibrationey (new word for the oxford dictionary) il just put this one back in ,

but yes ,good job , im on 51k miles , so a note to other nk4 owners
