new turbo back exhaust!!!

i have finally booked my car in for a turbo back exhaust with sports cat and cant wait do u reckon i would feel much difference? the mods i got so far are revo stage 1, ram air induction kit and forge dv. also i was thinking of getting an sps3 to tune it a bit after is there any point at this stage or should i get a new intercooler first?

Hey mate, you have the exact same mods when i had my BF turbo back fitted. I noticed the car felt a tad quicker and felt like there was better air flow all the way through. And it made a luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuvly sound!

IMO i would get a fmic first....1. Because summer is coming up soon and 2. Because they look the dogs dangly bits...3. You start tuning it even more etc your only going to be needing the crap smic to try and cope and perform more than it cant already.

Yeh id do the fromt mount first aswell but he said its all booked in already. What exhaust did you go for?

its from a local custom exhaust place called pro speed in cardiff apparently he is pretty good and know his shizle, ive read a good few reviews about them so i went down to see charlie and he gave me a good price. i think they can fabricate intercoolers down there aswell as i wouldnt fancy doin this myself and think i would prob fudge it up and would like to know that its done properly, i know forge would be a better route to go down but i reckon its alot for that especially at this stage

ye i wouldnt mind a miltek but its more that what im paying, and ive also heard how they are hard to fit and knock sumtimes? im sure they are good but i would prefer to have it firmly mounted to my car, so anyway it looks like a nice fat fmic is next on the list, then i was thinking about the sps3 anyone got one?????

aww i know i have heard mostly good to be fair but i have heard they are hard to fit, im sure performance gains etc and sound are tip top, but thats just wat i heard

Ive heard the Miltek can knock abit, but they do sound great. Blueflame is what i have on mine and i cant knock it, some people say its too loud but mine is fine, has never knocked and had no problems with it at all.

ye i have also heard good things about blueflame, and thats what i would probably have got but i wasnt sure on the tailpipe design tbh and i wanted the twin tail pipe. but decided on custom made one at a reputable establishment

get a tailpipe like supersprint. the best imo and im not even being biased!

The supersprint and blueflame have almost identicle tail pipe desogns, both being ovals, i think the BF is slightly larger. I had a SS back box on mine before i went for he BF, but as it was just a back box it was soooo quiet. Good bit of kit though and very well made.
