I made a change to have easy entry activated. It basically works. I Then tried to have rear lights on with daylight running lights but it asks for sfd unlock permission.

I have the bonnet open, I have hybrid formentor. Do I have to somehow bypass/get sfd unlocked formentor to work?

There is no long code option like there was when I did the easy entry , is that correct?

If the changes you are making are on control unit 09 then you are correct there is no long coding option as VAG moved this on this control unit to Adaptation.

I didn't know what to use for workshop information to complete the process. Any advice what's supposed to be in the workshop number and address fields? Obviously I'm just a private user of the car.

Workshop number you can leave blank from memory because you are a private individual.

Address according to VW Documentation says it should be your home address but there is no validation. OBD11 will have your shipping address stored against you original order I am guessing and they keep that data for 30 years from memory.
