You're trying to cure the symptoms instead of the
problem. Your car is producing too much boost, first and foremost. Don't try and make your intercooler and pipework cope with it, because ultimately it won't. Get the overboost
problem sorted first, then sort out the pipework so that it can cope with the boost that you should have available.
Get it to a tuner and bung him a few quid to check your map and see if it's actually remapped or not. If it isn't then you have a turbo
problem. If it is then you might have a turbo
problem or you might have a map with too much boost written. If it isn't remapped then you can start with standard diagnostic procedures to stop the
problem. If it is remapped then I would suggest reverting to stock to put the map out of the equation until you find out whether the turbo is faulty or the map is causing your
problem.
But stop trying to cure the boost hose popping off because your
problem runs much deeper than that.
