newbie, styling advice

Hi all,

I am new to the seat scene and diesel scene, i have just bought myself a seat ibiza tdi 130! in yellow. I must admit i like it alot. love the torque and money saving etc. I previously had a vauxhall astra coupe 2.2. I did love that lots to.

Anyway its looking a bit standard at the minute, im thinking of getting black 17's on it and lowering it, i have read a fair bit on this site about doing stuff, remapping etc, all has to be done :D where is the best place to get cupra/fr parts for it though such as lights, bumpers, alloys etc? i guess it should be easy to order in from a seat garage? but surely thats costly too.

any advise appreciated, as i say im new to this seat scene, i have ordered in a green panel filter already though lol. and some nice bulbs...that seem to be a nightmare to fit

Bulbs are a bit of a pain to fit on the diesels but it can be done. Glad your enjoying the car. Blcak wheel and lwoering sounds like a great ideas. As for parts either get them off people on here, not that easy thou, or it is the dealership unfortunetly but theres always ebay of course. If you've got the green filter you wanna get to the dealers and order the cupra air intake to go with this, see the FAQ section it has pics and part numbers.

oh right i will give that a go, just the intake? not the whole airbox... wont set me back too much money will it, i presume it will just fit straight on, if i cant gethold of bumpers etc is it easy to get hold of like honeycomb grilles for the bottom of my bumper from one fog to another or anything like that to make it a bit nicer, same with cupra back lights i have seen people buy, i might try the dealership, suppose they must have spares in case people with the cupras etc need to buy another part

all you need is the intake tube and the adaptor that screws to the front bodywork

honycomb grills are a common mod

do a search on both subjects and all will become clear

welcome to SCN and SEAT ownership

Welcome to SCN mate.

As has been said, Coilovers and a nice set of wheels would be perfect.

PD160 Intake with a green panel filter is the next must. Then Re-map.

maybe a bigger exhaust too?? not only will it increase the performance but it fills the hole for the exhaust a bit more too, makes it look prettier
