No Boost After Remap

Hi i got my car remapped from p-torque and when i start it for the first time i get no boost, therefore no power. Im going to call p-torque tommorow to see what the problem could be but was wondering if anyone has any ideas. Basically when i first start the car up it doesnt boost at all. Then when i stop and restart its fine again. Its a cupra T remmaped to around 220bhp, but doesnt feel even 180bhp when it does this
thanks James

Well i asume, something must have gone wrong with the car, a fault must hass occured. had similer problem with my remapped by p torque, turned out to be fault boost valve and coil pack.
p torque maps are great, just had line up with CTR, but thats another story.

Best to have it scanned on vag for faults? are you using the standard dv or upgraded plus what other mods are installed.

no other mods and just a standard dv, some posts ive read have scared the **** out of me about this limp mode thing. Talking about new cars and how theres no cure!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont know whether it may be the engine adapting to the remap, i took it out tonight and there was no limp prob on the first start, so with any luck? how much was it to repair yours. Also yours didnt do the restrcited revving did it, because mine hasnt done that which can only be a good sign i assume

They'll be a reason why its going into limp mode, its not normal to have to live with it (I've never been in limp mode ever)

As someone said, get it on vag com and check the fault out

do recommned you have an upgraded dv, as th standard one fail on a remap, (ive blew a few, till i got a forge).
You may want to do a trottle body reset and reset the cu by disconnecting the battery (do a search ;))

Wouldn't you want to try and sort this problem out before putting the same map on cars and having the same problems?

Do the cars have something in common? Is it all Leons, LC, LCR, Diesels?

No, just 1 particular software version and there is roughly 16.

Its impossible to tell which software version the car has until its here with us.

It wont hit limp mode when driven hard, it is literally occasional on the first start, even some of the same software version dont suffer the problem. Obviously we have tuned alot of these for members, and this is the first thats had this issue

i changed the spark plugs but this did not help at all. The guy at p-torque is investigating the problem and is getting back to me. sounds like someone at rica may have found a cure for the problem
