No Boost Request From ECU?

hi all,

strange problem with my car.

i logged bloack 115 with my vag-com today. my car is leon cupra 180bhp auq engine,. I saw a strange thing, even at 4000rpm the max requested boost is 1300mbar and the turbo was giving 1380.

now the thing is, when i deduct 1000mbar it means my ecu is only requesting 0.3bar at 4000rpm. this is way too low i think, am i right? no?

i dont think there is any issues with the turbo because the 0.3 bar is what is requested by the ecu NOT what is given by the turbo.

any one with similar issues? any idea what to do or change?

thank you for your replies.

managed to log the maf,

it plays around alot. at idle it plays around 2 - 7 gs and at around 2000 rpm it went upto 20 gs and dropped back down to 10 gs and so on. so the number is not exactly consistant with the rpm.

is this normal?

Sounds EXTREMELY low.
this thread reckons an average for an unmapped LCR ahould be 140gs ish.

Have you run the car with it unplugged?

ok done some recording and here are the results.

on 2nd gear at 5000 rpm it was 100 g/s but as the rpm increased to 5600 the maf reading went down to 79-70 g/s.

i tried again at 3rd gear, i went upto 5700 and the max was 89 g/s this time.

are these normal? i got the full log if you guys would like to see it?
