No Hot Air

In the last few days I have had no hot air coming out of my Climate Control system (With Air Con On & Off) in my Ibiza TDI Sport. Even if I switch the temperature up to maximum it still blows cold air, this is even after the car has driven 20 miles. Guessing it could be a Thermostat or something like that?
My car is still under warranty for a couple more months so will take it in to be looked at I think!

Check your coolant level. This symptom can indicate that there isn't enough coolant left to fill the heater matrix. If it is low, find out where it's all gone

Checked the coolant, and there was none. Spoke to the Seat Dealer again (Had already booked it in in a couple of weeks a few hours before) and he recomended putting water in and driving a few miles, which I did, and Hot Air is back. Suspect I have a leak as it had gone down about a cm after that.
Will have to buy some coolant and keep it topped as a temporary measure until I can get it looked at. First time they could look at it is a couple of weeks but suspect if I tell him it is leaking should be able to get it in sooner.

I hope that the level had just fallen below the bottom of the expansion tank, and you hadn't lost all of it. How much did you have to put in to get the level back to the "full" mark ?

It is really very important to keep the coolant level up. Keep checking it and filling up to the top mark, every day if necessary. Is there any evidence of a leak, a puddle where you usually park or water in the undertray?

The dealer should be worried about this. I would expect them to do a full compression test and show you the results. Lack of cooling will usually cause the cylinder head to warp and the head gasket to blow. Make sure you get this sorted before your warranty runs out.

I had to fill the small coolant tank up completly the first time but when I had driven the car the pink colour had come back in the tank so there is still some coolant knocking around in the system.
Just checked it this morning and none has leaked overnight so obviously leaking somewhere other than the tank. I had to fill it up from below just below the bottom of the small triangle under the 'MIN' level back up to between the min & max marks.
I am going to check it everytime I drive it to make sure the level is up to the mark. I haven;t noticed any puddle where I park, which is usually on gravel so harder to notice anyway.
Warranty lasts until July-August time so will get it looked at ASAP, and get them to check it hasn't caused damage elsewhere!

Problem solved now (Nearly!!)

The car has been in to the dealer, problem traced to a faulty radiator, will be replaced under waranty. Will be fixed in a few days as they couldn't get the new part in today
